Where do I park?
If it’s open, park in the left lane of the driveway. Otherwise, anywhere on the street is okay.
Is your office ADA accessible?

There are steps, turns, and stairs that make access difficult. 

What are your office hours?

I keep various times available for you to reserve from my calendar. If that does not work for you, please email or message me with your request, and I will try to accommodate you.

Do you offer sessions in the evenings or on weekends?

Yes. If you need a special time, then ask me and we will probably find something that works.

How long is a typical session?

A typical individual session is 50 minutes.  We can make faster progress with longer sessions so many clients prefer those.  Couples sessions are 75 minutes.

What is the hourly fee?

My fee is $150 for a 50-minute sessions, $180 for 80 minutes, and $210 for 110 minute sessions.

Do you offer a sliding scale?
I can be available at a lower fee. Let’s talk about your circumstances to see what will work for both of us.
How do I pay?

I prefer that you pay with an app called IvyPay. It’s very easy to use. I will help you set it up. 

Do you accept insurance?
No, but I can provide you with a “Superbill” to submit to your carrier for possible reimbursement.
Can you help me file my insurance?
No, but I can give you a Superbill and other simple documentation.
How do I make an appointment?
The easiest way is to make an appointment on my calendar. If you do not find a time that works for you, email or text with some options that work for you, and I’ll try to make it work.
Can I cancel an appointment? Do you have a cancellation policy?

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full fee will be due.  If you need to reschedule, I will try to accommodate with another time in the same week at no charge.

Are you LGBTQIA-friendly?

Yes, but I do not have any special expertise in this area.

Do you work with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions?

Absolutely. I welcome you to tell me more about your background.

Is our work confidential?
Yes, but with exceptions that I will explain in our first session.
Are you licensed?

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. This means that I am supervised by a licensed professional approved by the California Board of Behavioral Science until I complete the requirements to get my full license.
